Maker: Hermann.

Marked:  Red cording attached but no tag.  

Material:  Stuffed Mohair.  Glass eyes.   

Features:   The following Large Hermann ( Similiar to Steiff Jocko) with red string on chest remaining, is a dark brown mohair and has air-brushed features.  Glass eyes, embroidered features and firmly stuffed, this chimpanzee is in wonderful displayed condition.  He has an closed mouth.  Above each eye is a somewhat vertical air-brushed line and brown air-brushing below the eyes.  One ear looks smaller than the other.  Felt mask with inset white mohair in his muzzle.  Fully jointed.  Working Squeaker! He is a larger Monkey with straight legs.  The quality and investment in a Hermann Monkey can not be beat.  What a wonderful gift for your loved one or self!

Size:   16 inches - 41 cm in height when stretched out and 10.5 inches (26.5 cm) sitting.  All measurements are approximate.  

   Age: 1950s approximately.           

Condition:   Condition is subjective and although the bear has most likely spent most of his life displayed, perfection is rare.  This is how I purchased this Chimpanzee (see photographs).  Thinning mohair, Bare patch on upper chest, moth hole on right foot.  I may not have caught everything so please rely on pictures as part of description.  Please see photographs and or or video and ask prior to bidding any questions you may have regarding this item.
