Up for sale is a rare and large original double sided 1926 Atlas Map with updates of the Flushing area located in the historic 3rd Ward of Flushing, Queens New York with updates.  This map includes the updates of PS 179 and Bishop Reilly High School, now St. Francis Prep and Flushing Meadow Park. It measures 19 x 27.  It is in Ex condition.

Map 28: The map covers from 191st St. to Horace Harding Expressway and from Northern Blvd. to 35th Ave.
Map 29: The map covers from the Van Wyck Expressway to Highland Ave. and from the Long Island Expressway to Fowler Ave.

The roman numerals indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure.  Yellow is wood, brown is stone, pink is brick.  The X's through the buildings indicate it is garage. The brown streets indicate cobblestone while green indicates macadamized pavement and white means it is unpaved.  And the light green lines on the map show who the first recorded and original landowners were as well as the original streets.

NOTE:  All maps that have been updated can be removed to see the original buildings from 1926.  Just use a sponge and warm water and gently remove the top layers.
