This is a vintage Leica SFTOO/12035 Frame Finder for the Leica 20cm Telyt Screw Mount Visoflex lens. Designed for use on the Leica TZFOO/14023 metal extension tube, this frame finder rests in the tube’s cold shoe and is secured in place using the captive screw on it’s base. The TZFOO/14023 metal extension tube allows mounting visoflex lenses to a Leica Thread Mount rangefinder camera without using a Visoflex.
The SFTOO/12035 Frame Finder offers parallax correction by twisting the eyepiece end. This adjustment moves the ‘peephole’ of the eyepiece up or down to adjust the finder’s elevation based on distance to the subject. This item is in great usable condition. It’s cosmetics are of use but it is of typical Leitz construction quality and will provide service for multiple lifetimes. If you are using the TZFOO shooting your classic 20cm Telyt this SFTOO will allow you more control over your life, not to mention framing. You should add it to your collection right away…
