ndian Subcontinent at 1:4,500,000 from Nelles Verlag, with its smaller size, double-sided map offering a convenient format for use when travelling. The map divides the region north/south, with a very generous overlap between the two sides. Coverage includes the whole of Afghanistan and the western half of Burma/Myanmar.

Relief shading with spot heights and names of mountain ranges presents the topography. Road network distinguishes between highways in good and poor condition and shows distances on main routes. Railway lines and local airports are included and the map also shows internal administrative boundaries with names of the states/provinces. No places of interest or tourist sights are marked. Latitude and longitude margin ticks are at 4° intervals. The map has no index. 

Insets, all highlighting various places of interest, show town centres of Delhi and Colombo, plus the environs of Mumbay, Kolkata (Calcutta) and Kathmandu.
