Map of Malaysia & Brunei, by Nelles Map

The whole of Malaysia at 1:1,500,000 on a map from Nelles with a smaller size sheet offering a convenient format for use when travelling. The map includes several street plans and enlargements of the country’s most visited areas. On one side is a road map of the Peninsular Malaysia, accompanied by street plans of central Kuala Lumpur, Georgetown and Melaka/Malacca, plus enlargements of the region around the capital, Penang and Pangkor. On the reverse is northern Borneo with the Malaysian states of Sarawak and Sabah, accompanied by street plans of central Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Brunei’s capital Bandar Seri Begawan, plus an enlargement of the Muara area with Bandar Seri Begawan.

Relief shading with spot heights, names of mountain ranges and graphics for marshlands presents the topography. National parks and other protected area are marked. Road network distinguishes between highways in good and poor condition and includes partially paved roads and cart tracks, with distances shown on main routes. Railway lines and local airports are included, and the map also shows internal administrative boundaries with names of the states. Numerous places of interest are prominently marked. The map has no index of localities. The street plans highlight main sights, facilities, public buildings and selected tourist accommodation. Map legend includes English.

When unfolded, map measures approx. 30" x 20"
