New, sealed Hareline packs of dyed hungarian partridge feathers. Feathers are random sized in each pack. Used for feather arts and fly tying. Please be advised the way these are packaged results in some waste.
The gallery picture show a picture of all 6 colors. You are buying one pack of one color. The pictures are representative of the pack you will get.
Natural feathers fly tying. Random plucked feathers of whole hungarian partridges. No sorting or highgrading, so you get loose mixed feathers. This includes up to 25% waste. Depending on the fly you are tying, there may be just a few of these in the whole pack because of the wide range of feathers and patterns this is especially true if you are looking for the most common soft hackle feathers for fly tying. When considering these select feathers, the waste may be over 50%. A lot of people describe these non-tying feathers as waste. I prefer to call them packing materials. This is the way the packs come. The non usable feathers are not a defect. To get the select feathers high graded without the waste packed in, you would be paying twice as much to get the same amount of usable feathers as are found in these packs.
If you prefer not to wade through the "packing materials", I recommend purchasing a whole skin. Even then, over 50% of those feathers are not usable for soft hackle, but at least they are less messy.
I just received a negative feedback after selling 100s of these packs because someone bought 2 without this understanding. Hoping to avoid more negatives in the future by disclosing this condition before you purchase.
