The gandoura, the summer version of the traditional Moroccan djellaba, was issued to many French Colonial Infantry and Cavalry units, such as Goums, Spahis, Tiralleurs and Zouaves. Eventually it was also adopted by some units of the French Foreign Legion. It was worn over other uniforms for protection and camouflage.
We have reproduced this rare item in khaki cotton, exactly copying an original. We have made 3 sizes: ONLY SIZE MEDIUM IS STILL AVAILABLE. IT IS A VERY LARGE SIZE

These are cut very large like originals and will typically be about 12-15 inches oversize to fit loosely over a uniform.
