This large woodcut is from Harper’s Weekly and was published in 1877. It has been recently removed from a bound volume and for that reason it is very well preserved. Very attractive antique print! Overall dimensions of the page are 16 inches by 11 and 1/4 inches and this antique engraved woodcut is ready to be framed! See my photos for condition. Occasionally my scanner creates a moire effect on engraved images such as this. This can cause a wavy or streaky effect on open areas of these old images. The moire effect is not present on the actual print!
