Feature :
The AD8310 is an ultra-fast response, versatile logarithmic amplifier in an 8-pin small SO package. It is a 400 MHz complete single-chip demodulated logarithmic amplifier based on progressive compression (successive compression) technology that provides 95 dB (± 3 dB rule consistency) and 90 dB (± 1 dB (unity)) at frequencies up to 100 MHz Tight error bounds) of the dynamic range. The device is extremely stable and easy to use, basically do not need external components. It operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and consumes only 24 mW at 3 V. The AD8310 is ideal for applications requiring high precision IF measurement applications that detect and compress intermediate frequency signals in a dB equivalent format for ease of measurement. The AD8310 has a fast response time of 15 ns and can detect ASK modulation waveforms above 10 MHz. Other applications include RSSI, transmit power control and pulse detection.
