4x M8 Threaded E-Nuts for 8mm screws.
E-NUT inserts are special metal fixings with a machine thread on the inside. They are designed primarily for use on wooden furniture.
When correctly installed, they are ideal for securing Sofa legs and Feet. For many beds, this is the easiest fixing method if you are removing castors (the push-fit type) and fitting higher legs.
These E-Nuts are 13mm long and take a standard 8mm (M8) dowel screw as fitted to all the legs and bun feet sold by EDINBURGH WOODTURNING. This is the most common UK and European fitting size.
To fit the E-Nut just use a standard 8mm Allen Key (not supplied) to screw the insert into a pre-drilled hole of the correct diameter (11mm for Softwood and 12mm for Hardwood.)
