Vintage Reverse carved Intaglio glass Jewel circa 1940's (No Hole)22mm
These Vintage Intaglios were manufactured in Western Germany in C'1950's50's.
They are glass cabochons containing intaglio or reverse carved scenes.
Because they are so intricate and tiny it would be difficult to manufacture them today as current manufacturing costs would be prohibitive.
As a result these are quite rare and very sought after. I have them in 3 colours Coral Black and Green.
They have unlimited applications in craft and design. These were part of a collection that I was lucky enough to purchase from a retired craftsman who worked in around London in the 60's and 70's.

As with most of my vintage items stock is limited and I do not expect to get any more.

Vintage stock can reasonably be expected to show some signs of age due to being stored for many years. All vintage stock is new and has been made available from closed down factories and wholesalers. Usually vintage stock is in perfect condition. Please look at the photos and bear in mind that occasionally there may be some signs of ageing however I will point out any obvious defects.
