Vintage, signed and dated ERTE bronze of a beautiful elegant woman dressed in the art deco style of the early 20th century called CHINESE LEGEND. The bronze measures approx. 22" from the bottom of the base to the top of the extended right arm. The measurement from side to side measures approx. 8" at the widest part which is from the extended right arm to the opposite arm. The bronze is beautiful in form and design and is numbered 111 of 500 and is dated 1988. It is marked Seven Arts Lt London. The weight is 21 Lbs and 3 Ozs. The color of the flowing robe is brown with gold trim especially in the mid section of the bronze. Like all of ERTE's bronzes, this one is unique and beautiful to look at and gives you a sense of what the early part of the 20th century was like in fashion and dress. You can imagine how wonderful it must have been to live at that time when the world was awakening to a new era of beauty and innovation. There is no damage to the bronze at all, no fading of color, no dents. The raised platform on which the bronze stands on does have signs of polishing that affected the signature which can still be seen as ERTE's signature.
