THIS FENDER CUSTOM SHOP GUITAR was designed from the ground up to be true player's guitar with a blend of classic Jazzmaster /Jaguar and Esquire / Telecaster appointments! The Offset Telecaster - Jazzmaster / Telecaster Hybrid (which we like to refer to as a “Telemaster”) features the classic offset body style of a Jazzmaster infused with the headstock and hardware from a Telecaster! This Masterbuilt Relic electric guitar is hand crafted in the Fender Custom Shop for the ultimate in tone, playability and long term investment potential.

Stealth pickups and versatile electronics!

For the ultimate cool factor mixed with killer, rocking tone we chose a Broadcaster Bridge pickup (visible) along with a pair of specially-wound, "Stealth" pickups hidden beneath the pickguard in the middle and neck position. A 5-way pickup selector switch and standard Master Volume and Master Tone controls provide contemporary, Strat-style switching and modern versatility. How does it sound? Pretty much like a Tele with some Strat-style in between tones mixed in.

Custom neck profile and premium woods!

The neck on this guitar is based on our exclusive MVP Series guitars and features an ultra-comfy, "C" meets "U" profile – Custom sized and hand carved by John Cruz to be a perfect fit for large or small hands. Modern specs like a 1&11/16” nut width, 9.5” fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire make for an incredible playing experience while the truss rod adjustment is accessible from the headstock for additional convenience. The Maple neck is Quartersawn and hand-finished. For the body we spec’d premium lightweight Swamp Ash for a resonant tonal experience.

Additional player friendly specifications include a “Gatton” bridge and saddles for improved intonation and a reversed control plate which perfectly aligns the Volume and Tone controls in the ergonomic sweet spot. Did someone say Pinky Swells? Have at it!
