DAGON began as a fanzine for fans of the H.P. Lovecraft game THE CALL OF CTHULHU. Issues had articles about the game as well as suggested gaming scenarios. Artwork was based on Lovecraft characters and concepts and as time went on it embraced more traditional horror fanzine aspects including interviews with contemporary authors and artwork by fan favorites such as Allen Koszowski and Dave Carson, plus others. It ran from the early 1980s to 1990 and is difficult to find beyond scattered issues here and there.
