This is an adorable and ULTRA soft Koala Bear was made with real Kangaroo Fur over a very firm body.   

It has three characteristics that differentiate it from similar listings:  it's larger size (9.5" Tall); motion-musical feature & exceptional, excellent condition.  

The bear has glass eyes, plastic claws and nose and a green grosgrain bow. When moved, it makes musical bell-like sounds.  

These Australian-made bears are included in the 1988 book “Teddy Bears, Golliwogs & Playmates of the Past” by Romy Roeder.  They were marketed as souvenirs of Australia to adults and children alike.
