unlike some of the crappier cheap pod type filters,
these go from 55mm at the mount, and only step down
to 52mm actual throat ID where it meets the carb on the inside.
This keeps them from covering any of the air jet passages
on the back side of the carburetor.
There are no better designed velocity stacks, at any price!
