This is a used Leica III 35mm Film Rangefinder Camera w/ 5cm f/3.5 Leitz Elmar Lens that is in Rough Condition. The body of this camera has heavy wear from previous usage and age as can be seen in the photos accompanying this listing. The leather material is cracked and broken off of half of the body of this camera. This camera has not been CLA'd.

The lens is in fair condition and appears to be free from fungus or haze, but does have some cleaning marks on it. There is also some inner element dust. The aperture blades are in good condition, move smoothly, are not oily, and are not bent. 

The shutter speed do not appear to be 100% accurate. When this camera is left alone for a few days, the shutter will not fire completely or at all. After winding and firing the shutter a few times it appears to loosen up and fire consistently until left unattended for an extended period.

Not only is the outer body in rough condition but there is cracked an chipped paint on the inside of the body as well.

We check shutter count when we make an item live on eBay. Periodically we made handle the camera and fire the shutter while answering questions or cleaning it. This may cause the shutter count to be off by a few clicks but never by any major margin.

Do I need to be home when my package arrives?

For item over $100.00 we require signature confirmation. This can be from any adult at the residence as per UPSP standards.
