There is a lot to like about this statue ranging from its weight and solidity (this statue is righteously heavy!), the dynamic pose of The Thing , the cool base to the great sculpt and immaculate paintjob.

The Thing is sculpted in such an impressive way that you can almost hear him scream his famous battle cry 'It's Clobberin' Time!' just before landing his first blow on his unfortunate opponent.

Hard Hero somehow managed to bring the comic books to life when they sculpted The Thing and the magic they put into this statue is unmistakeably and undeniably there.

But this statue not only excels on a big and bold level; no, the small details stand out as well.

The way Ben's rocky skin is sculpted is exemplary just as the paintjob on his blue Fantastic Four jumpsuit. And the famous 4-symbol on Ben's chest looks absolutely amazing.

And do not forget the cool manhole cover sculpted on the base which adds a level of realism and genuinity to the base.

The statue delivers big time on various levels and as such it is really a pity that Hard Hero does not release statues anymore.
