Rubber hose with a braided nylon protective outer which is resistant to abrasion.

Both ends of the hose have screw fittings

1/4BSP - approx 10.75mm

1/8BSP - approx 9.35mm

1/8BSP is the most common size of airbrush air inlets

BSP denotes British Standard Pipe and the type of thread
