1940's Schuco Radio 4012, Convertible, Light Blue, EX++ & Working!, Tight, Clean.  Circular glare reflection on the hood nose is my camera (NOT a dent).  No paint chips on the car, seats, underside.  Windscreen is complete and excellent.  Antenna raises and lowers.  Wheels and tires are tight and solid and not cracked or flattened.  Steering wheel turns front wheels.  Radio works when wound up (and on/off switch works correctly to command it).  Windup motor for wheels winds and works and wheels spin quick and smooth.  On/off switch for wheels needs to be pulled upwards a little extra by hand when winding the spring so the the switch locks the motor stopped during winding.  Once the key is removed and the switch is released, it motors along nicely.  I think there is slight wear in the on/off switch catch lock but it works fine with a little extra finger holding effort.  Very nice car with all its details and features intact.  Made in US Zone Germany (which is just after WWII).

I do not have the original Schuco key and I used a generic square hole key to wind the spring motor and radio.
