- Some light surface wear and chipping around the edges of the covers - This occurs mainly on the top and bottom edges of the spines (where some material is worn away) and on the corners
- Binding is strong & intact - no pages seem to be loose or missing
- A few light crimps on the pages from handling
- Some writing in both books, inside of the front cover in pencil
- Some small margin tears and chipping on the edges of a few pages
- Some light discoloration spots/browning/foxing on the pages from age
