Acquired from the estate of Senator Jacob K. Javits (1904-1986). A bronze medallion commemorating the second inauguration of Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon January 20, 1957, mounted in a Sterling Silver dish. The dish measures approximately 9.5" in diameter. The total weight is 433.50 grams/15.29 ozs. We do not know the weight of the silver without the medallion. There are surface scratches present along with spots of discoloration. There is tarnish present, slightly warped. Marked along the side of the foot STERLING.
