Listing is for a very nice restored vintage Tag Heuer 1000 980.007 dive watch.

Ready to wear, no issues.

•The case is original and doesn’t look like it was previously polished. Great vintage condition with no rust or corrosion.

•It has a new sapphire crystal. The original crystal was a mineral crystal (which is included) and they are all too commonly scratched. The sapphire is practically scratch proof and is quite a substantial upgrade. These sapphires are custom made and this is a feature found on most high end brands such as Omega, Tag Heuer, etc.

•The hands/dial is new aftermarket and is in great condition with a creamy color on the lumed indices and hands.

•The bezel insert is original and in nice condition for its age which is hard to find. As a bonus this watch comes with one of my custom made bezel inserts should you ever need to replace it (shown overlaid in one picture to give you an idea of what it would look like installed, after purchase I can install it at no charge if desired).

•ALL gaskets (crystal, caseback, and crown) have been replaced! Pressure tested to 30 meters and it passed with no issues. 


•The movement is a brand new quartz movement which replaces the older out-of-production movement. Ready for another 30+ years!

•The clasp is the original Heuer piece and new solid link sections have been added to replace the stretched out wrapped links. This bracelet will fit up to an 8.75” wrist.
