Pair of Rare Decorative Faux Marble French Columns c.1880

For sale in this LOT is an exceptionally rare original pair of faux marble effect columns dated 1880. These are a wonderful example of 19th century decorative display items that would have originally had either plants, statues or ornaments placed on them. Both these items show a very detailed and accurate representation of Rosa Verona marble pattern. Both items show an authentic and aged look, they are both structurally secure and would make great display items with an element of antique Italian elegance.

These items show scratches and fading of colour due to age and use, the colour is still strong and the structure is still secure and firm, overall in good condition.
