This niche opening is 14 inch x 14 inch x 4 inches deep. It can be finished around the front edge with drywall mud then painted for a fully integrated look. Or, if you want a more traditional look you can easily add molding or purchase a pre-made Modern Niche frame. Once painted the niche blends into your wall like it was part of the original building. If you really want to make a statement, group several on a wall. The overall flange width is 16 inches which will fit a standard stud bay and can be installed next to each other when wall studs are 16 inches on center.
