Acquired from an estate. This listing is for a Rare Original Superman #1A Sunday newspaper Comic Strip. Original Superman comic strip advertisement for "Superman - Man Of Steel … follow his startling adventures beginning Next Sunday / Don't Miss It". Panel in upper left corner is noted as by Copyright 1939, McClure Newspaper Syndicate, 1-A. Eleven panels on page featuring the strengths and abilities of Superman. Superman started in some newspapers first of November 1939 and were noted as 1A. On the reverse side is the comic strip Krazy Kat. Page size: 10-7/8" w. x 14-5/8", frame size: 12-5/8" x 16-3/4". The page is framed behind two pieces of glass showing both sides. The images are crisp and clear, there is yellowing of the paper from age, and two small chips in the upper right corner, does not affect either Superman or Krazy Kat lithograph.
