This is an original 22x33 G.W. BROMLEY Atlas Map for the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York, 1908.  Map includes Eastern District High School, Carnegie Library, 47th Regiment Armory, U.S. Naval Hospital, Amphion Theatre and other notable buildings and structures.

Plat 9 covers from Union Avenue to the Wallabout Canal and from South 2nd-South 11th Street to Flushing Avenue.

The numerals inside the structure indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure.  Yellow is wood, grey is stone, blue is iron and pink is brick.  The X's through the buildings indicate it is a barn or stable or garage. Double green parallel lines indicate the original streets from the 18th Century and the maps also indicate with green dotted lines the first deed holders.  The X's though a small circle indicates a fire hydrant, et cetera.
