Item for auction is a beautifully detailed 1.07g Bediasite tektite that was found near a retention pond in Texas. This particular Bediasite is pristine, with no chips or breaks, and features deeply cut grooves - highly desirable. These North American tektites are by far the oldest well-preserved tektites known in the world. They were produced by a meteorite impact in the Chesapeake Bay 34 million years ago. Scale cube in photo is 1cm on each side, and not included in sale. Big Kahuna combines shipping, and addresses must be in the English language, to facilitate customs input at US Postal Service.
