This camera is the iconic Kodak Vest Pocket Model B Autographic Camera. The Vest Pocket Cameras were first made by Kodak in 1912 and the autographic feature added starting in 1915, when this camera was made. This camera is the updated Model B.

With the autographic feature, it allowed the user to actually write on the film as they took the picture. The stylus is missing on most of these cameras when they are found, as is this one.

This camera was made of a metal body and a black enamel finish. It is small and light and was perfect for the soldiers of WWI. It takes 8 pictures on size 127 film. It has a meniscus lens and a Vest Pocket Rotary Shutter with T & I stops. In 1925, they originally sold for only $7.50. Today, that would equal $184.00

This particular camera is in good shape. The shutter works fine, the bellows are nice, with no pinholes. The covering is in good shape, missing one end of the side, as shown. The bed is worn, and the rest of the covering is dry and worn.

The extra take up spool is present, the red lens is good, the stand is perfect, and the winding knob is also perfect. The brilliant viewfinder and the other lenses are reasonably clean. There is a bit of patina on the metal frame of the camera, all shown in my pictures. The lens slides easily in and back out on its rails.

This camera also comes with its original leather pouch. However, I didn't take any pictures of it because it is in poor condition. It is worn, stitching is missing, latch is rusty but works.

Shipping will be only $7.00 anywhere in the U.S. for 2-3 day Priority mail.
