The ball "links" on this chain are almost 1/2" (12mm) diameter ! The bars in between slide in the ball so it is not a stiff necklace. Length includes closure. 12mm balls. 12mm is almost 1/2"Closure itself measures 1-1/2" inches ~ ! ~
