Solid Hardwood chopping board. These boards are hand  made locally and therefore everyone has its own unique grain characteristics. The timber is from FSE sources which means it is from a sustainable and managed forest. The boards have been sealed with a food safe oil to bring out their grain characteristics as well as sealing them. They should not be washed in a dishwasher but simply wiped down and occasionally given another coat of oil (Olive oil is ideal) The boards are approximately 4cm thick, unless stated otherwise. All dimensions are approximate, there may be a slight variation in dimensions due to natural movement of timber.

Oak
Oak will mature and darken gradually, deepening to perfection over time. Oak had a strong grain to add real character.

Iroko
Blessed with a high oil content, this African timber is hard wearing, naturally hygienic and stunning in appearance. The golden surface of Iroko will mature into a rich bronze after time.

Walnut
Walnut is a magnificent timber which is both robust and delicate, marrying rich colour variation with a slightly curved grain to give a naturally decorative finish.

The BBQ Board

This solid Oak board has been designed with BBQ cooing in mind. It can be used as a straightforward chopping board, or having handles on the side can be used as a tray to carry and serve your cooked food. With hygiene in mind it has been branded with the words "cooked" on one side and "Raw" on the other. You therefore reduce the risk of contamination between raw and cooked food.
