The primary elements here are the heating cables which are always embedded in the upper cement layer of the floor. On top of this cement layer you can glue the flooring – tiles, marble, carpeting, linoleum and many more. It can be used for dry and humid premises. CARBON FLOOR HEATING A high technology heating element emitting healthy heating in the infrared spectrum. It is made specially for heating all kinds of wooden and laminate floors. The main difference with the classical floor heating is that the heating element here is used directly under the flooring – without a cement coverage. The many advantages include quick heating, even heat distribution on the whole floor, precise temperature control. You can get the general idea of how to install such heating system from our online presentation. Calculate the clean area Calculate the clean area which will be covered with carbon film. You don't need to place it under heavy permanent furniture like wardrobes etc. At the example room there won't be carbon film under the bed and the closet. The clean area is 85sq.ft. The carbon heating film is 14W/sq.ft. (150W/sq.m.). That's why the maximum heated area with one thermostat is 180 sq.ft. For bigger areas you need additional thermostats. Floor construction The insulation is not strictly mandatory when using on top of wooden floor. The floor probe must be mounted on top of the active part of the carbon heating film. Here we have quickly heating of the floor and precise control after that. That's why the carbon heating film is very energy efficient. We use smart WiFi digital programmable multi-functional thermostats. They have both floor and air sensors, degrees in C and F. They are easy to set up and operate in both manual and programmable mode. Easy to control through a phone app and also a simple manual mode. The power supply is 100-240VAC 50/60Hz. The relay contact is 250VAC 16Amps. They can be used in Europe as well as North America.
