This is an antique casting mold that was used to make a pottery Toby jug commemorating the Death of the Duke of Wellington 1852. Heavy stoneware with thick walls and lots of detail. Surface patina and some chips and wear, its an unusual piece of British ceramic history. A great looking folk art example as well. 7” by 5” by 4”. It has some weight to it.
