For sale is a matching set of spur gears that are manufactured out of solid brass. Each buy it now is for 1     8 tooth pinion and 1     57 tooth counter gear and 1 set screw. Please see the photograph of the three speed gearbox that was manufactured using these. This is just one example of what can be made with these gear sets. We also manufactured a gearbox that had nine different speed reduction's for a gentleman in Pennsylvania for his model railroad animations.

The center distance for drilling your gearbox is .547" CTC. We experimented with a couple of different distances and worked out this one to be the best with very little backlash.

Please note that I have over 7000 sets of these gears that weigh a little over 100 pounds total. So please take your time when planning a project and know that I will not run out soon.

The small pinion gear does not have a hub or a set screw but if you have a small tube of red LOCTITE or a soldering iron as seen in the photos it is very easy to attach this gear to a shaft. THE BORE OF THIS GEAR IS DESIGNED TO BE LOCTITE-ED ON A 1.5MM (.059") MOTOR SHAFT
