PLEASE NOTE: This module, part # A96010, is actually an A93010. It is virtually identical to the A96010 and it operates the same, but downloadable datasheets are available for each for comparison if necessary. The small size is because the IC is in Chip-on-board form. One button is pushed down to record the message through the on-board electret microphone; A LED turns on during this time. The other button just has to be momentarily pressed to replay the message. A second momentary press during playback will stop the playback. Sampling rate is 4K. The record/play time is determined by the 52K resistor. If you change it to 89K you will get 30 seconds but at a reduced sampling rate.

This is a kit which includes the following items:

• 1 x A96010 voice recording module (20 second message)
• 2 x Connector cable to connect the voice recorder to a speaker and power source. (8 inch each)
• 1 x 1watt 3inch 8ohm Speaker
• (You will need to connect the connector cables to the speaker and a power supply preferably by soldering)

Not included:

• 1 x Battery holder that can hold either 4 x AAA or 4 x AA or 4 x C or 4 x D cells. See our battery holders.

NOTE: This unit will power a 1 watt speaker as is. You do not need to add an external amplifier. However, you can add an external amplifier if you want to drive more than a 1 watt speaker, as long as you follow one of the 2 options below
