The Extron SWP123 Media Presentation Switcher combines three A/V switchers and a master audio switcher into one compact box. Within the SWP123 is a four input, one output VGA with stereo audio switcher; a four input, one output S-video with stereo audio switcher; and a four input, one output composite video with stereo audio switcher. The easy-to-integrate SWP123 switcher is a cost-effective solution for signal routing applications that usually require three separate switchers, such as small conference rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, and rental and staging environments.

The composite video, S-video, and VGA switchers each feature a companion four input stereo audio switcher that provides audio follow switching capability for unbalanced, line level stereo signals. For added flexibility, the Program Audio switcher provides volume and mute control while switching stereo audio output between all of the sources (VGA with stereo audio, S-video with stereo audio, and composite video with stereo audio) and the microphone input. The Program audio output can be wired for balanced or unbalanced stereo audio output signals and features a variable output level. The SWP123 also stores a unique audio trim level for each input that is automatically recalled when that input is routed to the master audio output. All audio functions can be controlled locally via the front panel buttons, serial commands, or IR remote control.

The SWP123 includes a high quality microphone preamplifier with an XLR connector for easy connection to low impedance, balanced microphones. A rear panel switch engages 24V phantom power for condenser microphones. Front panel controls are provided for the microphone level, as well as a button to activate the microphone Talk Over function, which enables voice announcements to be heard over another audio source. The SWP123 features an ergonomic front panel with large soft-touch rubber buttons and ample room to accommodate input labels. The switcher is housed in a 2U, full rack width metal enclosure and includes integral rack ears.
