These laptops have been used.  They are high-end business systems which come from large corporations.  Although they are label as refurbished, they have not been repaired.  They will show some wear and tear like scratches from normal use but nothing that will affect function or performance.  Most have been upgraded with new or newer components like more RAM or a higher capacity hard drive.  Buy with confidence.

Typical notebook battery, like any other battery, will degrade in the capacity to store energy, measured in mWh or Wh), over use and time, this is why notebook sellers will not provide warranty the amount of power left in the battery of a used system. we believe, that a working battery, that will hold a reasonable charge is an important part of the system and we test the batteries on all the systems we received. for this system, a typical replacement OEM standard power battery is rated for 46000mAh within usually a margin of +-10%. new original batteries and extended power batteries tend to hold more charge but the cost is usually much higher. We consider, a battery for this system to hold full charge if it will hold within 10% of the rated power of a new OEM replacement battery at 44000mWh.  The BIOS/SETUP on this laptop has built in diagnostics under which it provides a HEALTH STATUS of the battery installed (NORMAL/MODERATE/LOW/REPLACE).  This system will ship with a STANDARD CAPACITY BATTERY that the BIOS shows a HEALTH STATUS NORMAL or a EXTENDED CAPACITY BATTERY that the BIOS shows a  HEALTH STATUS MODERATE (which should have about the same capacity)  We will not use batteries that not hold at least this minimum charge, extended charge batteries with some ware may be used, but they will hold at least the amount indicated. - UPGRADE TO A BATTERY TO AN EXTENDED CAPACITY NORMAL HEALTH BATTERY WITH A CAPACITY OF +60000mWh FOR $15.
