This is our new reproduction of the Mills 1881 cartridge belt for Cavalry.   This was the first woven Mills belt adopted by the Army.  It featured branch colored edges and an interlocking belt plate.  The U-shaped cutouts in the belt plate are to prevent it from covering the buttons of the uniform coat.

This belt holds 50 rounds of .45-70 ammunition and is adjustable in length from 32 to 56 inches.
