An important silver cup and lid, stamped ( Diana head ) the Austria-Hungarian Empire silver hallmark from 1867- 1912, and JCK stamp silver maker.

JCK refers to Joseph Carl Klinkosh , who worked for the royal family.

This pretty piece is highly engraved with floral motifs, also engraved with the Imperial crown and 2 arm coats, as shown on photos.

It is also engraved with a date : 19 April 1870.

And in Latin :

Sit nomen domini benedictum (blessed the name of the Lord).

There is a crack in the lid, a missing handle at the top of the lid ( only 3 not 4 ) as shown on photos.

This is an important imperial piece which needs a professional restoration.
