This listing has been revised to make it clearer to everyone

I sell the standard 1/4 inch tyre/tire (usa) that fits just about every Teac Tascam 1/4 inch apart from the some really early or rare models but !!

On some of the 30 series Tascams and some other second hand units that have appeared on the market they have used for some unknown reason  a pinch wheel/roller (usa) with a different cap, this forced Tascam to use a smaller tyre that had to be centred on the hub, this has caused no end of confusion so here I am now listing a newer lower profile rubber tyre, this has to be centred on your hub.

So to be clear now I am selling these 4 variants

The Tyre as normal  my part number S685 Thats the photo measured at 1/2/0.5 inch

Normal pinch roller with tyre my part number S1070

Teac number  5014175100

The next tyres are smaller where the caps over hang ( normally just Tascam 32 series)

And now a new reduced tyre  my part number S1226

Normal pinch roller with reduced tyre centred my part number S1227

I have had these made as they were really becoming too expensive So have had the Hubs made in the UK and rubber from the states these are not the original ones.

There is a lot of noise going about original non original etc etc and of course its best to buy Original but when I looked at the bags on the Original parts there was no date code so these units could have been made ten years ago or more even, so I organised these with Nice fresh rubber tyres and new metal hubs.

5 mm centre hole

Unlike many of the clone copies of the originals, these have the same inner circle inside the wheel (bet you did'nt know that was there) this was a pain to get it cut but I am guessing its used to hold oil and/or trap particles of metal dirt etc So added it, The Earlier Teac rollers were plain it seems inside.

These are a very accurate fit so you need clean your centre and remove all the Gunk
