This listing is for a VINTAGE, all-original Gateway 2000 Colorbook laptop! Features an Intel 486 DX2 50MHz CPU, 8MB RAM, 340MB hard drive and a COLOR DSTN LCD screen! This is all original, exactly the way I found it at a going-out-of-business giveaway, save for personal files being deleted). The laptop also has a 1.44MB floppy, serial, parallel, PS/2, and VGA connectors, as well as two PCMCIA slots and a built-in trackball! Original power supply is included, too, as well as the original system manual!
THE GOOD:
Very good condition for the age; could use a good cleaning, but overall pretty nice.
A few scuffs but NO CRACKS.

THE BAD:
**Almost everything works. I've never been able to get the trackball to be recognized by any mouse driver I can find. A serial or PS/2 mouse works fine, though.
The 340MB hard drive has some bad sectors.
The keys are yellowed with age some.
The port cover for the rear is gone.
THE MEH:
No sound and no CD-ROM (though most laptops of this era don't have those).
The CMOS battery is shot (no surprise).
The main batter is shot, too (again, no surprise).
