The Schedel's Word Chronicle or Nüremberg's Chronicle is an important reminder of German letterpress art from the late Middle Age ( 1493)
The exact title is : Liber Chronicarum Die Schedelsche Weltchronik.
The author Hartmann SCHEDEL( 1440-1514) was a physician, humanist and one of the first cartographers to use printing press.
The first Germany's map was in this book.
There are 1809 Woodcuts .
The printer is Anton KOBERGER ; he asked to a famous Woocuter , Michael WOLGEMUT , to make this work
He began in 1487 with his son, William PLEYDENWURFF. For the history, we will note that the famous Albrecht Dürer was a lerner in this fabric from 1486 to 1489 ; most of the specialists think that he worked on it.
