Very cute vintage Merrythought Dutch teddy bear, dating from c.1938,
bearing original woven Hygienic Toys label to the left foot pad,


 made of  blonde wool plush and peach colour corduroy,
  stuffed with kapok and wood-wool throughout the body and head,

unjointed, with wires in the body,


 

has got  original orange and black glass eyes,

 vertically stitched  nose with nostrils,

 inverted Y shape mouth stitching,


original  felt pads with very slight general wear,

feet reinforced with cardboard,

original three claws stitching to each limb,


red felt pockets to his trousers are probably old replacement.



Teddy Bear is approx. 10" (25 cm) tall.




Condition - item is  in  vintage condition  with  slight general wear and thinning.
