General Description
Aquafilter offers FP3-HJ-K1 4-Stage Water Filtration System with UF membrane suitable for POU (Point of Use) installations.
Through an accurate combination of pre-filtration, softening, iron reducing, activated carbon with special media and ultrafiltration treatments it ensures a continuous supply of fresh and clean drinking water.
Stage 1 - Sediment Filter
Spun-bounded polypropylene
Function:
5 micron sediment filter traps dirt, sediment, rust and other
particulate matter.
Stage 2 - Ion exchange
High quality ion exchange resin
Function:
Step 1: Water hardness reduction.
Step 2: Reduces the concentration of iron.
Stage 3 -Carbon Cartridge & KDF®
Activated carbon coconut shell with KDF®
Function:
Step 1: KDF features bacteriostatic capacity, protects
against the development of other deposits of bacteria.
Reduces the levels of iron and heavy metals.
Step 2: Final reduction of chlorine, pesticides, organic
substances and a final improved taste and odor
of the water.
Stage 4 -Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane
Ultrafiltration separation mechanism is commonly
attributed to the pore size of the membrane as low
as 0,02 micron (0.00002 cm)
Function:
Rejects or separates high molecular weight solutes
as well as suspended solids, colloids,
and macromolecules, bacteria and some viruses.
