This exquisite pattern is "inspired by the Ancient Chinese paintings of exotic birds, pagodas and flora of the Ching Dynasty of Chia Ching 1796-1820".
The idyllic scene is perfectly balanced with distant pagodas perfectly framed within bright blossom branches. Exquisite birds in flight fly atop a distant island landscape in scenes featuring between the pagoda pattern, beautifully unifying the exquisite design. A floral flourish elegantly adorns the slender neck and a lavish gilt gold trim to the rim and of the vessel add an opulent sparkle to the exotic design.
The vibrant Oriental inspired pattern appears atop a crisp white fine porcelain ground which magnificently accentuates the richness of the pattern.
SIZE: This delightful piece stands approx 162mms tall and measures 85mms in diameter.
CONDITION: This exquisite piece is presented in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The pattern remains wonderfully rich and vibrant and the fine china body is clean and stain free. This piece comes presented in its original box which has scuffs and marks from storage. It appears this piece has been stored away in its original box for years, never having been used.
MARKS: This piece is beautifully marked to the base with a Crown Staffordshire England Fine Bone China Pagoda mark.
