* NOTE: Please check with your local transport authority to confirm that trailer mounted electric trailer brake controllers are permitted in your state. Can't find what you need to complete the job? Send us a message, we have access to a wide range of parts that aren't currently listed! REFER TO THE WIRING DIAGRAM AND THE NOTES BELOW FOR INSTALLATION Minimum Input Voltage: 18 VDC Nominal Input Voltage: 24VDC Maximum Input Voltage: 30 VDC No Current Load: 30 mA Maximum Load: 2 Axle /14A avg Weight: 200g Dimensions [LxWxH]: 40mm x 79mm x 81mm The control module has four (4) coloured wires, Black, Red, Blue & White. Black wire is the positive voltage power supply line. A fuse must be fitted (Refer to table in wiring diagram for the relevant size) Red wire must be connected to a point that receives a DC voltage equal to that of the supply voltage when the brakes are on. Generally for most vehicles we recommend that you connect the RED wire to the cold side of the brake light switch. Blue brake wire must be connected directly to the trailer brake wire. White ground wire must be connected to a grounded metal part of the dashboard, vehicle fire wall or directly to the negative battery terminal. |
