Description: This item is our replacement product for the C328 camera module which is no longer available. Please note the command-set of the C329 and C328 is not identical.

The C329 UART JPEG compression module performs as a video camera or a JPEG compressed still camera. Users can send out a snapshot command from the host in order to capture a full resolution single-frame still picture (OV7725 sensor). The picture is then compressed by the JPEG engine (OV529) and transferred to the host.

Note on frame rate: The frame rate is based on the baud rate. For the UART the max baudrate is 921,600 baud or 115200 Bytes/Sec base on an image size of 48K the best you can expect is 2FPS. If a faster frame rate is needed see the SPI version of this camera.
