This auction is for a fabulous Antique View of the City of Reading PA, Compliments of Henry J. Rhoads!  It has some writing on the back, including the date 1884.  I got this with a lot of other Reading, PA items from the 1880's (see my other listings).  This View measures about 14" x 7.5".  It is from Universal PR, 723 Penn Street, Reading PA.  The store was located at 641 Penn Street, and it carried "Notions and Fancy Goods, Hosiery, Gloves and Underwear."  The print was done by "Meissner."  It has fold marks and wear from age.  It is an antique print, suitable for framing.  Check out the photos!
