This is a RARE 1966 vintage copy of Batman #186 which features Batman's early exploits against the Joker including the 1st appearance of Gaggy (Joker's sidekick). Written by John Broome with art by Sheldon Moldoff. It's first print and the overall condition is rated Fine/Very Fine. The cover is sharp with off-white pages. It has minimal creases but no tears occurring along the cover edges. Staples are intact and fairly firm.
synopsis:
The Joker's Original Robberies: The Joker has gathered a group of criminals and his very own sidekick, a midget clown named Gaggy to commit a series of heists stealing an original or first edition items of antiquated or historical value. As usual the clown prince of crimes thefts bring the attention of Batman and Robin, who after a few attempts, manage to stop the Joker and his gang from stealing the original Gotham City Hall, and turn the crooks over to the police.

Commissioner Gordon's Death Threat: Commissioner Gordon is the hostage of a crook whom he put away forty years earlier, who has now come back for revenge on Gordon. The death threat brings the attention of Batman and Robin who fights their way through the crooks hired goons and booby traps and eventually saves Commissioner Gordon's life and put the crook back behind bars.
