So - the 10" round trivet can be put under a mixing bowl on the counter so it won't slip around. Use it

as a placemat for hot soup or chili bowls. Keep one on top of your toaster oven to keep the top from

getting scratched up and have it handy to put your super hot dish on top of the oven. The nonporous

silicone will not absorb strong odors or stains and will not harbor bacteria - the perfect surface protector
